Why I started this channel
In skilled nursing, I’ve seen too many families agree to a discharge date, a therapy plan, or a coverage change without knowing they had options. Not because anyone was hiding anything, but because the system moves fast and the rules are confusing.
Alan’s Care Corner is my way of slowing that moment down. Each video takes one confusing part of Medicare, therapy, or skilled nursing care and breaks it into three things: what it means, what your rights are, and what to ask next.
My goal is simple. I want you to walk into every care conversation able to speak up, ask better questions, and never just say yes.
